The research conducted by the Academic Unit of Administration at the Catholic University of Cuenca, Azogues Campus, provides key statistical scientific evidence for the economic reactivation of the province of Cañar. The study examines the variables and describes the phenomenon of economic reactivation from various economic, social, cultural, and geopolitical perspectives. Through an exhaustive literature review, a rigorous scientific methodology is developed, allowing the inference of results and the proposal of an optimal Model for the productive reactivation of Cañar. This model, based on the Ordinary Least Squares Method, identifies the factors that positively impact economic reactivation and suggests a prospective framework for intervention, facilitating the formulation of public policies validated through field studies and the theoretical framework provided by the epistemic community. It is concluded that economic reactivation is explained by sustainable tourism, associativity, and competitive advantage.
